KAMELOT Add Keyboardist OLIVER PALOTAI As Permanent Member
October 5, 2005American/Norwegian power metal act KAMELOT have announced the addition of German keyboardist/guitarist Oliver Palotai (DORO, ULI JON ROTH) as the new and permanent member of the band. "We have been very fortunate to work with great keyboardists from around the world," stated KAMELOT guitarist/founder Thomas Youngblood. "After the first 'Black Halo' tour earlier this year, we added Oliver to the fold. We feel that his attitude, ability and personality fits the KAMELOT family perfectly."

In addition to Palotai, KAMELOT's upcoming U.S./Canadian tour will feature soprano vocalist Mari. Mari appeared on both the "Epica" and "The Black Halo" albums and will be singing live with KAMELOT.
KAMELOT are continuing to promote their latest album, "The Black Halo", released in March through SPV Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Epica" was produced by Sascha Paeth and Miro at Gate and Pathway studios in Germany and features guest appearances by Shagrath (DIMMU BORGIR),Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS),Simone Simons (EPICA),Mari (MASQUERAID),as well as the KAMELOT choir, featuring Herbie Langhans (SEVENTH AVENUE),Amanda Somerville-Scharf, Miro, Gerit Göbel, Thomas Rettke (HEAVEN'S GATE) and Elisabeth Kjaernes, among others.
